In the first session, we have been developing my skill in editing my blog.

1. How well could you complete the class tasks working on your own? Were you able to create creative layouts on MyBlogs?

: I learned how to customize my blog in this class. I organized my ppds so that it is easy to distinguish them. In class, I only learned how to organize very basic ppd and I had to customize my blog myself. I’ve never seen a website like this before, and I’ve never used it before, so I felt a little complicated. I felt that the content of the class was insufficient to explore all the customization functions in the blog.

2. How does it make you see design/art differently? What else do you want to explore on your own?

: Art and design are really different things. But art can be design, art can be design. Art can make everything I want to do without other people’s evaluation. Design should be made in consideration of popularity. Art is to make the public think about new things, get inspiration, and accept my opinions through my work. Design should be made for the public and easy for the public to understand. So the design is more systematic. If I design it however I want, I may not be able to deliver what I want to deliver to the public. I think my inclination is more like art. I think it’s because I have to do what I want to do to improve my aptitude. I think design and art for other people’s convenience are boring. I want to make my own and introduce and express my own to the public.

3. What were some of your limitations when you are working digitally?

: I’m not used to working digitally yet. Because I don’t know how to use it yet. Working digitally requires more technologies and functions than you think. In addition, the functions must be used in the right place to be useful for work. I learned a lot of different functions in school, but I still don’t know how to use them. You should explore more and always take an attitude to learn. Even simple functions can be really useful, so you should remember even small functions well. Working digitally has the advantage of being able to work quickly. But I prefer physical work because I think physical work makes my work better.

In the third session, we have been developing my skill in cad drawing.

1. How well could you complete the class tasks working on your own? Were you able to create CAD drawings?

: In Term 2, we have already learned how to draw cad drawings. So I was able to draw CAD drawing more smoothly in this class. Sometimes, I felt that Adobe class was running out of time, but this time I already know base of how to draw CAD drawing, so I understood this class much better and liked it. Now I can draw CAD drawing alone.

2. What were some of your limitations when you are working digitally?

: Now I can draw clothes that I designed in CAD drawing. Next time, I will draw all the clothes in my collection in CAD drawing. The good thing about CAD drawing is that I can understand my design easily and clearly. Especially, If I go to Ba, I will make a project with a more professional process, and I will be able to explain my design to others well if I have CAD drawing.

3. What might you need to do or follow up as a result of this session?

: My CAD drawing is not detailed yet. I also think it should be cleaner. In addition, more details will need to be added. You’ll need to practice more to draw these things naturally on CAD drawings. Practice CAD drawing for various clothes with avant-garde details will gradually improve your skills. I think marking the sewing line is still the most difficult part. I need to draw a sewing line after figuring out the pattern of the clothes, but I don’t know the structure of the pattern of the clothes yet.

In the last session, we just did our work that we want.

1. How well could you complete the class tasks working on your own? Were you able to further develop your work on Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/MyBlogs?

: Now I can use Photoshop well to do making my project. Actually, when I make my project, I don’t require a lot of photoshop skill. I remember when I first came to this school, I was a student who didn’t know how to use Photoshop at all, but I’m really proud to see myself developed like this. The illustrator doesn’t know how to use all the functions yet, but I learned how to draw CAD drawing, which is the most important thing as a fashion design student. In-design and My Blog were not only insufficient in class content, but I also did not use them often. As a result, I don’t know how to use these program well. I have to practice more.

2. As a result of today’s session, what might you do differently next time?

: Today I just did what I wanted to do. I didn’t learn anything new. But at the end of the class, Sing gave us a speech. The topic was how to get a job in London. I know it’s really hard to find a job in London, as a foreigner. It was more reliable because Sing, an Asian like me. He told us his experiences. It helped a lot. I think I had more time to think about my future after this class.
