Week 3

This week, I decided on a market position and continued to work. My market position is middle brand. The brand that inspires me is Post Archive Faction. As I am interested in men’s wear, I chose a brand that focuses on men’s wear.POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF) is a brand that develops the brand based on bold dismantling and avant-garde experiments without distinction between art and fashion. The experimental and artistic forms of design inspired me a lot. In particular, it was impressive that there seemed to be something in common with me, who paid a lot of attention to experimental, unique, and delicate details in this collection. In the middle of the class, Giles asked me to make 12 designs in 60 minutes, so I was embarrassed at first, but I tried it as fast as I could. But I didn’t finish. Because I tried to make it quickly, I missed a lot of important details. I may not have completed it because I usually add to details on my design. However, I could choose one design that I liked among them. I will draw 8 final illustrations. Among them, I made one final design today, so there are seven left. It takes so many effort to choose one design. I started to create a development page by referring to the research page and my 3D works. I designed shape of clothing and then adding details from images that inspire me.
